Response to Paul Aubin "Families"

Aubin's explanation of the different types of families in Revit slightly cleared up some of the confusion I had. The terminology explanations, in my opinion, were easier to understand when I had the program up. Being able to physically see some of the terms and what they did was helpful. His overall step-by-step tutorial on how to create a shelving unit was simple and easy to follow, having the annotated pictures were extremely helpful. I also like some of the explanations of why we did what we did. I still do not completely understand why we need to name the reference planes?
